Privacy Notice
A plain-language draft for the Wrap-out prototype. We use production information to run your workspace. Saving a separate personal credits record is your choice.
Who looks after your information
WrapOut is the name used by the operator of this prototype. Privacy questions, corrections and access or deletion requests can be sent to wrapoutinfo@gmail.com. The operator’s legal identity and any required business contact details will be finalized before a public launch.
What the workspace stores
We use Supabase to create and verify your Wrap-out account. We receive your verified email, account ID and the name you provide. We store your account profile, project membership, consent choices and requests. Producers and collaborators may add crew contacts, talent photos and measurements, locations, schedules, comments, invoices, receipts and other production files. Financial documents can contain business or tax information. Please upload only what the production needs; avoid identity documents, passwords and unrelated sensitive information.
Why we use it
We use these records to identify your account, manage project access, prepare call sheets, organize files, extract invoice details, track recorded payments, support users and protect the service. Uploading a person’s details does not give you permission to enroll them in optional credits features. Producers must have an appropriate basis and provide notice when adding other people’s information.
Optional private production credits
If you choose this option, we save a separate record of your name, production titles, roles and shoot dates from crew profiles associated with your signed-in account. This supports your private work history and future features for displaying it back to you. Credits are not verified employment references. The option starts off, is not required to use the workspace, and can be withdrawn in Account settings. Turning it off removes the separate saved credits record immediately; necessary production and consent records remain. We will ask separately before publishing a profile or including you in a searchable directory. This choice does not authorize unspecified future uses.
Who can see production information
Project owners and authorized collaborators can see the information their permissions allow. Financial information is restricted to the payment team and relevant submitters. Wrap-out product owners have administrative access across the prototype for operating the service, resolving support requests and protecting users. We commit to using that access only for those purposes. People can download and share files; copies they take outside Wrap-out are not controlled by the app.
Our commitments
We do not sell personal information, use it for targeted advertising, sell production credits, or use private production data to build employment scores or blacklists. We do not use your uploads to train an AI model in this prototype. We do not claim ownership of your production content. We may disclose information where required by law or necessary to protect people and the service, subject to applicable requirements.
Services involved
Vercel hosts the website. Supabase provides account authentication, the database and private file storage. Invoice text and scan recognition run in your browser using assets served by the site; originals and extracted fields are saved to the production. Google Fonts receives network information when typography loads. Weather searches share the location query or coordinates with Photon/Komoot and MET Norway. External map and email links open the services you select. These providers operate under their own terms and privacy notices, and processing may occur outside your province or country. We do not promise Canada-only storage.
Retention, access and deletion
Project records remain available while needed for the production and any legitimate recordkeeping obligations. A deleted cost is recoverable and its attachments and audit history remain; deleting a cost is not a privacy erasure request. Account settings lets you download an account-data summary, correct your profile, withdraw optional credits consent and submit a deletion request. A deletion request immediately removes the optional credits copy, then goes to the operator for review of shared records and any retention obligations. It is not an instant erasure of all production files. For a complete personal-information access request or corrections to shared records, contact wrapoutinfo@gmail.com. We will explain any information we must retain and respond within applicable legal time limits.
Security and changes
We use authenticated access and server-side permissions and limit access according to roles. No system can guarantee that a breach or other harm will never occur. Report a suspected issue to our contact email. Material new uses will be explained before they begin, and new consent will be requested where needed. Your account records the policy version and time of your choices.
